According to sources, Syrian fighter jets launched air strikes early on Sunday against ISIS, an Al Qaeda-inspired Jihadi faction, hideouts in the Iraq's porous border along with Syria.
The air attack primarily hit rebels from the hardcore insurgent group that now controls about 800 kilometre long Syria-Iraq key border crossing, hurting Prime Minister Maliki's attempt to eliminate insurgents.
