What do you do when you've been bitten by some of the most ambitious, craziest and wildest cricket fans? Crack open a bottle of endless crap and drown them all out, of course.
Tennis
star Maria Sharapova faced the toughest time of her career when she was bitten by former Indian cricket skipper Sachin Tendulkar fans (all of them Indian) because the poor girl admitted she
does not “know who Tendulkar is.”
Maria came under fire instantly and Sachin's fans made her look like the most disgusting girl on the planet.
Sachin himself, on the other hand, was in shock as he could not understand how come someone does not know him. Even he was afraid of his fans' outrage and the media hype back home.
As expected, Sachin Tendulkar, now living
in a place far away from his angry fans (some claim), faced after he was grilled by a mindless news anchor of why Maria
Sharapova doesn't know him and "why he is not as sexy as her."
After the deadly bite, Sachin Tendulkar had informed some sources that he had
gone straight back home from the channel’s studio and called a local doctor. He
then apparently grabbed a bottle of anti-venom syrup from the fridge and sat down
to slurp it while he waited for the doctor and his team to arrive.
Sachin
Tendulkar PA had told him to cool off his anger, warning that panicking would
have made it worse.
"I said to myself, 'I’m going to [die], I’m not going to have a look at my face in
the mirror because Maria does not know me. How come?'" a teary-eyed Sachin
told a Mumbai-based newspaper from an undisclosed location.
Native to big and small cities like Mumbai, Delhi and Kolkata, Sachin fans are highly poisonous and can deliver around five milligrams
of venom in a single bite.
Maria Saharapova’s Facebook page was submerged in wet venom (most of the sweet
comments in praise of Maria are still there). Though some of the hosts and
media dons are responsible for the demise
of truth, integrity and good journalism in the country, Sachin fans’ poison
can always be countered with an anti-venom, which Maria Sharapova terribly
lacks.
Sachin’s case
was no different. An anti-venom-syrup-drinking Sachin was picked up by emergency services
and treated with an anti-venom at a local clinic. Although the great cricketer
had an adverse reaction to the medication, Schin master-the-blaster survived
the incident.
Moral: Never mess with Sachin fans !
